She's Finally Here!!!

On April 29th at 4:51 P.M. Bailey Jo Ray was born. We had been waiting for her to make an appearance for quite some time now and are very glad that she is here. The whole labor was very long and rough. After three and a half hours of pushing it was determined that it wasn't going to work out that way. We immediately moved into surgery for a c-section. Due to the whole labor being rough our poor baby came out with a few bruises on her head. I am happy to say that they went away by the next day. She is very healthy and has completely brightened our lives. We love her very much and can't wait to continue to watch her grow.

Catch Up....

Well it has once again been awhile since we have updated this. We have been very busy getting ready for the arrival of our little girl. It seems like the time is just flying and that she will be here in no time. We are both very excited and keep counting down the days. We have recently had our baby shower and we had a great time with that. My mom and sisters all threw it together and it turned out amazing. I finally feel that we have a good head start on the baby now. Also my mom bought us a crib and a dresser for the baby. Of course I put Greg to work to assemble everything and get it ready. It is part of the fun of getting ready for the baby's arrival. Other than that nothing too interesting has been going on. Just been able to spend a lot of time with the family which we both enjoy. Oh and I seem to be getting bigger by the day. :D

Our Big Day

Greg and I had been wanting to get married for quite awhile now. Neither of us had any money to do a "big wedding" so it seemed like a great opportunity when we heard on the radio that 13 couples could get married for free on Friday the 13th of February. Greg put in for it online and shockingly enough we were one of the lucky 13 couples. It included a wedding band for each of us, a boquet, and a two night stay in Mesquite. My friend Kristin was so excited about the whole thing she immediately insisted on getting me a wedding dress. So just like that we were able to get married about 2 weeks after putting in for the wedding. We had a good turn out of friends and family who were there to support us and we really do appreciate it. Especially with the short notice. Greg is and always has been my best friend. I love him greatly and am so excited we FINALLY get to start our lives together as Husband and Wife. Forever and Always!!!

Greg's 22nd Birthday

Wow, how time flies. Greg turned 22 on February 4th. We both had the day off and spent it together. He was able to get an eye exam which is what he was very excited about. Now he is still waiting for his new glasses to come in. Later that night we had a family dinner to celebrate his birthday. I love having Greg as part of my life and can't wait to see what else will happen on the journey ahead. I love you Greg! Happy Birthday!

Arizona Trip

Ok, So once again we have fallen very behind. The beginning of January we went to Arizona to see Greg's parents. We really enjoyed spending some time in the sun while everyone back at home in Salt Lake were in the snow :D We did a little sight seeing while we were there and had to make time to go and see the border to Mexico. That is what Greg wanted to do most.

New Years!!!

So New Years was nothing big. We kept it fairly small and just had a few people over to the apartment to hang out and play games. It was still a lot of fun. I spent most the evening watching Pearl Harbor with a friend Brandon, and also playing with his adorable little girl. All in all it was a fun night.

Lisa's 21st Birthday

I got a new digital camera for my birthday and was so excited cause it was one thing that I really wanted that I did not already have. I had left it charging at my mom's house and asked my little sister to not mess with it until I came back to get it... of course I knew my camera would be full of pictures when I got back. Here are a few of them.

About a week later we went to celebrate my birthday with a small group of friends that could make it. We decided to go bowling and have pizza. So we went to Fat Cats. I had never been there so it was a fun experience for me. I always enjoy bowling, even though this night was definately not one of my bests. And for some reason, I seemed to be the only one getting "splits" Happy Birthday to me :D
